Mr. Hubbard discovered the cause of these and many other manifestations. He found that there are actually 3 different and precise barriers related to study, which can make learning difficult for anyone.
The Athena School teachers are highly trained in recognizing and remedying these barriers with their students. The use of dictionaries and solid materials related to the area of study are an integral part of this.
Additonally, the students are taught to recognize when they themselves have encountered one of these barriers. They are then taught how to remedy the difficulty independently, thus empowering their ability to study any subject effectively.
This simple, effective study method gives our students the edge they need to succeed throughout their years of learning.
